Curtis L. Corbins is President & Chief Executive Officer of C. LEE Transportation and Southern Dallas Link. Dallas-based "equitable" transportation organizations providing access, community programs and resources to some of the most disadvantaged residents in the Dallas County.
In August 2015, as a result of a conversation with former Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings and his personal experience with homelessness and unemployment, Corbins felt compelled to lend his resources to becoming part of the solution to one of Dallas’ top barriers to livable wage jobs - public transportation access - particularly, in the most disadvantaged and underrepresented sector of Dallas.
Namely, Corbins began transporting men and women from the Ledbetter Train Station and the Texas Workforce Solutions in South Dallas to worksites in McKinney and Ennis, Texas. This is how his nonprofit, Southern Dallas Link came to fruition. Since then, Corbins has served more than 93K men and women who lacked access to become gainfully employed.
A native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Corbins has lived in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area since 1985. He’s the proud Father of a son and daughter who have supported his professional journey and championed his efforts.
